Hello!
Love this Bible verse! It reads:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” It was spoken by Jesus to the crowds, and can be found in the book of Matthew, verse 28.
I really took some artistic license with this cotton plant ! I meant to color it in shades of gray for shadowing. The base layer started out okay with an ultra chalky white version of grayish blue, but I really grabbed a ridiculous blue for the second layer of shading and here we are :o)
TECHNIQUES
direct stamping (sentiment, image - stamped twice and top portion was die cut from scrap card stock and foam mounted over original on card base)
foam mounting (cotton head)
