COLORFUL SCRAPS ARE A BEAUTIFUL THING!

Hello!

TECHNIQUES

ink swiping (scraps from another project), die cutting (words), stamping (hearts), foam mounting

SUPPLIES

word die cuts - Hero Arts "Stamp & Cut XL" set #DC281

TWO FOR ONE BACKGROUNDS

Hello!

This is a wonderful way to get two plus cards for the same amount of inking! (See HERE for another card made out of scraps from this project). I think I had seen this technique demonstrated on Simon Hurley's YouTube channel but I just gave a quick look through his list of videos and didn't come across it.

TECHNIQUES

ink swiping, simple masking

Tape a white panel onto your work surface (removable tape on the reverse), then attach a smaller rectangle of the same cardstock over the center of the larger rectangle panel.  Swipe very wet inkpads across both panels til you're happy with the look.  Once dry remove the smaller panel, trim panels and stamp as shown.

SUPPLIES

quote stamp - Hampton Art "Illustrated Faith" Line
inks - Catherine Pooler "Life of the Party" mini pad set
