Hello!
Found this wonderful stamp by accident a while back and have been waiting to use it. It is one long block with all three bird rectangles horizontally oriented. It would be perfect for a slimline but I was feeling an A2 card as usual so I fussy cut it up :o)
Sharing these cards with the following Challenges:
Add a Sentiment (ends 6/22).
#114 Something with Wings (ends in a month)
#153 Things with Wings (ends in a month)
TECHNIQUES
direct stamping (birds, cardfront background - I used a blending brush to add the ink heaviest at the center of the stamp, and then lighter and feathered out at the edges)
faux watercolor wash (bird rectangle backgrounds)
colored pencil (bird rectangle backgrounds)
fussy cutting (image rectangles)
foam mounting (sentiment strip, center bird)
*birds were colored using ink and a small blending brush
SUPPLIES
tryptic bird stamp - Club Scrap 2009
distressed flourish background stamp - Stampers Anonymous TH Collection #V4-1163
inks - Distress Dusty Concord, Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass and Barn Door
