Hello!
I'm not sure how old this stamp is, but years. It's lovely but I've not used it before because I couldn't think of a good enough way to honor the elegance yet keep it modern and unfussy. The Paper Players color scheme to the rescue! And an honorable entry into The Sisterhood of Crafters Old Rejected Stamps challenge :o)
TECHNIQUES
inkwash (background) *
* I smooshed the inkpad onto an acrylic sheet, spritzed with water, and then used a wide paintbrush to apply (TIP: if your brush is flush at the bristle end you can turn it sideways and swipe lightly to get the swish marks at the edges)
basic stamping (flowers)
heat embossing (small sentiment)
dry embossing (background - done after stamping and painting)
die cutting (large greeting, stitched edging)
metallic card stock (large greeting - stacked about 4x)
flat back gold gems
