BIRTHDAY CARD FOR A PHEASANT FAN

Hello!

We have an avid pheasant hunter in the family with a birthday right around the corner.  I choose to believe he and his dog just like to go out into the fresh air together and watch the birds :o)

SUPPLIES

STAMPS  Images - Stampin' Up! "Wildfowl" set, words - Stampin' Up! "Sincere Salutations" set
INKS  Distress dye inks, Versafine Onyx Black
OTHER  Stampin' Up! Going Grey marker, colored pencils
CARDSTOCK  110lb white, chocolate brown

STEPS

1.  Cut white and brown panels to layer on standard white top fold card as shown.
2.  Cut a circle from masking paper, Post It, etc and place it where you'd like the sun.
3.  Blend inks onto white panel as shown. Remove sun mask and lightly apply the yellow ink.
4.  Stamp reeds repeatedly along base with dark brown ink.
5.  Ink up only lines from pheasant stamp with grey marker and stamp onto background panel.
6.  Stamp pheasant onto white scrap cardstock with black ink.
7.  Color pheasant in with colored pencils, and fussy cut.
8.  Apply pheasant to background panel with foam dots.
9.  Adhere image panel to brown cardstock, and then to white cardfront.
