Love using up scraps and this is the latest!  I had ordered the map stamp for a specific project and found myself left with a gorgeous blue ink swiped oversize word panel. So I made a completely different card for a birthday.

Hello!

Loved playing with this older Stampin' Up! Medallion stamp combined with some VersaMagic Chalk inks.

TECHNIQUES

basic stamping  (light brown ink on tan cardstock) 

gradient stamping (colored medallion - I used a Misti stamp positioner to repeatedly ink up and stamp the medallion, starting with yellow in the center, then a slightly darker ink around that and then a pinkish around the edges

heat embossing (small sentiments on panels)

die cutting (scripty words)

*using a stamp positioner I inked up the beautiful stamp with one ink color at a time for the gradient effect, then stamped over the whole word with Versamark ink before applying and melting clear embossing powder
