Hi friends!
Congratulations to The Paper Players team on so many years of consistent work to bring us a wonderfully interesting and beautiful challenge!!! You are much appreciated!
SOME DETAILS
Ocean and sky were colored with various SU inks and blending brushes. My blending brush had a lot of dry finely caked on ink in it which lent itself well to providing a little visual texture to the ocean area.
I added some reflective silvery white solid sequins to mimic seashells/sand dollars on the beach

I just came back from vacation and this little scene is a pleasant reminder of my beachy days! Just so sweet, and that sentiment is perfect! Thanks for playing with the Players and helping us celebrate 800 challenges!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful interpretation of the sketch, Nancy! The blended sky is beautiful and the sand adds so much texture. The sequins add the perfect amount of bling. Thank you for helping The Paper Players celebrate our 800th challenge!
ReplyDeleteYour beach scene is a super way to use the sketch! I love the sky. The dark border makes a great frame and that, along with the pop of red, really bring the scene to life. Thanks so much for playing along with us at for our 800th challenge at The Paper Players.
