Southwest Faux Layers

This card features a Technique Junkie technique called Faux Layers, named because the entire scene is a single sheet of cardstock, which was then layered to rust cs, and then dark brown cs. Takes a while but the effect is so cool it's worth it!

STAMPS: all I Brake For Stamps - blanket bkgd is a single stamp, words from Time To Stamp 'Travel Atc' sheet, and all the rest from the 2 Southwest half-sheets #'s RB026 and RB012
INKS: Stampin' Up! Creamy Caramel and Really Rust, Staz-On Timber Brown, Distress Antique Linen, Tombow marker #969
SUPPLIES: colored pencils, square punch, repositionable tape, Tim Holtz distressing tool, Q-tip, sponge

Ha, I read the directions of this and I was lost! Never attempted to try again. Bad me :) Will have to go back and reread and see if I can understand it and try it for real. Yours turns out real well with great effect and I love it!
