Very cool blog candy. Thanks so much for the chance to win. My favorite charity is close to my heart..it would be National Kidney Foundation. It's been almost 2 years since I received my kidney from my sister.

I have about a dozen favorite charities but two favorites are Paws with a Cause which trains rescued dogs to be helper dogs and The World Cranial Foundation which pays for children world wide to have facial and head surgery to survive and lead normal lives.

Great blog candy. My favorite charity is Rescue Village, an animal shelter that have gotten many of my cats from. I also support cancer groups. So far I am a 25 year survivor of stage 3 malignant malanoma.

MS Society. I have had MS for 21 years and am thankful to be almost symptom free. I have a cousin with MS who can only move one hand but she is thankful to wake up each day and not be in pain--she is my role model.

Wow...wonderful blog candy! My favourite charity is the MS Society. Here is a stamping tip:
Store scraps of cardstock in zip lock bags. I have one bag for each of the various colour families and then I store them in a plastic storage container. I keep the container close to mystamping table, so they are the first things I look at when I'm layering my images. I also have another storage container for all of my little pieces of designer papers.

I like the MS Society and Dogs for the Deaf. We toured the Dogs for the Deaf headquarters in Oregon and were SO impressed!

cool Nancy - I love your cards and if this is the one you like the best, I want in the drawing! My silly little stamping tip is - keep those 1/4 in or so strips of paper you trim off here and there and use them for glue spreaders!

Hey Nancy, I am giving you the Arte Y Pico Award. The award is given to you because you deserve it for your creativity, design, interesting material, and your contribution to the art and blogging community. Most of all, I beleive you are so responsible for helping hundreds of people find the art in them.

Next, show the award on your side bar and then pick five blogs that you believe deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and their contribution to the blogging community. List the names of the people you chose to receive the award on your blog and link to their blogs. Then let your award winners know by posting a comment on their blog. Each award winner is to show the award and put the name of the person who gave them the award with a link to her/his blog. You also need to show the link to the Arte Y Pico blog to honor the origin of this award. All of this information is also on "my blog". You are so your own artista!

Now this is great candy. My favorite charity is the Children's Home near where we live. We donate money as well as clothes our children have outgrown. These are children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or because their parents cannot care for them.

PS, I was not entering the blog candy part. hee hee

Thanks for the opportunity to win the great blog candy! My favorite charity is the Muscular Dystrophy Association. My brother suffers from the most severe form of Muscular Dystrophy, and it has been very difficult to watch his health deteriorate and not be able to do something about it. We are hopeful that a treatment or cure will be found one day that will prevent other families from enduring hardships associated with MD.

While I'm partial to Paws with a Cause since we have a dog-in-training at my office, I'd say my favorite charity is CareHouse of Oakland County (Michigan). The provide services such as court support and therapy to abused children. More importantly, they let me come there and make art with the kids once a week.

Thanks for the chance at the blogcandy!

The American Cancer Society has my donations. My sister has cancer and it affects every person that loves her. I recently found out about another non-profit organization called ChemoAngels. It is an organization that helps you through the chemo process by sending a card, trinket, candy, just a little something every single week to try to keep the patient in good spirits. My sister lives across the country from me so I signed her up for this. They are the most generous, compasionate volunteers I know. I donate constantly to them because they made a painful time for my sister just a little brighter. Thanks so much for offering this blog candy. I always wondered what the Technique Junkie was all about. I'd love to find out firsthand.
